Singapore is strict about document completeness — a single missing paper can delay or reject your application. Use this checklist before submitting to your visa agent.
Mandatory Documents for All Applicants
- Original Indian passport (min. 6 months validity beyond travel date, at least 2 blank pages)
- Photocopy of passport bio-data page + any previous visas
- Completed Form 14A (Singapore Visa Application Form)
- 1 recent passport-size photograph (white background, 35mm x 45mm, taken within 6 months)
- Confirmed return flight itinerary (your name must match the passport exactly)
- Hotel/accommodation booking in Singapore for entire stay
Financial Documents
- Bank statement (last 3–6 months) — minimum ₹1 lakh recommended, ₹1.5 lakh+ for smoother approval
- Bank passbook (first page + recent 3 months)
Employment / Income Proof
| Applicant Type | Documents Required |
|---|---|
| Salaried | Employment letter on company letterhead + salary slips (last 3 months) |
| Self-employed / Business | Business registration certificate + last 2 years ITR |
| Student | Enrollment letter + NOC from institution + parents’ financial documents |
| Retired | Pension document or bank statement showing regular income |

Additional Documents (If Applicable)
- Host in Singapore: Invitation letter + host’s Singapore NRIC/FIN copy + relationship proof
- Minors (under 18): Birth certificate + consent letter from both parents (notarized if only one parent is travelling with them)
- Previous US/UK/Australian visa holder: Photocopy of that visa (may qualify for STVP on arrival)
Documents NOT Required (Myths Busted)
You do not need a police clearance certificate, a medical certificate, or a full travel insurance policy (though travel insurance is always recommended). Some agents add these unnecessarily.
